Leim - Beautiful, Functional Jumpsuits

Potato Obsessed.

Hetty is the founder of Leim, an upcoming sustainable jumpsuit brand. Ex tech marketeer turned clothing entrepreneur and faithful potato obsessor, Hetty has always wanted to grow her own business as organically as her favoured potatoes. Leim is the result of her love for making

clothes and the support and admiration from her friends when they heard about her idea.

Bathroom-friendly jumpsuits.

Hetty is the sole master, maker, maverick of bathroom-friendly jumpsuits - the ezp® jumpsuit! From her studio in Hertford, Hetty produces flawless jumpsuits from carefully sourced and ethical suppliers. Sustainability is a core value for Hetty as she strives to be part of a fashion industry that works with nature.

Inspired by a port-a-loo.

Taught to sew by her grandmother, Hetty has always loved the fulfilling sense of achievement from making her own outfits, it has given her greater respect and understanding for the time and energy that goes into creating beautiful functional clothing. Hetty loves individuals being able to express themselves through carefully made clothing.

The jumpsuit journey started when Hetty set about challenging herself to solve the ultimate festival problem: using a bathroom without the risk of destroying the jumpsuit. Her solution was the ezp® zip… giving jumpsuits the flexibility and style to be worn in any scenario. This led to the launch of her first jumpsuit: The Sisterhood, a jumpsuit that is the ultimate trailblazer product which exceeded all expectations. Hetty soon had a product which was unique and beautiful, made for everyone.

Sustainable Transparency.

Hetty is devoted to sustainability as she is with stylish design. All jumpsuits are made in small batches or made to order to reduce waste. All her products are produced within the UK to keep her carbon footprint as low as possible. The jumpsuits themselves are made from GOTS certified organic cotton and TENCEL™ lyocell. Hetty looks forward to introducing hemp and more fabrics in the future. All the buttons are made from Corozo nuts (also known as palm ivory which is vegan!) - before being dyed with OEKO-TEX. The buttons are grown sustainably by indigenous South American populations as a form of income to protect their homes and livelihoods. Once Hetty reaches her minimum order quota, she will introduce sustainable recycled zips to her pieces. All Leim’s packaging is recyclable and may involve home compostable packaging in the future!

Happy customers.

Hetty’s love and fulfilment from making beautiful, functional clothes is reciprocated in every review or message from customers who love her jumpsuits as much as she does! Those are the special moments which make her extremely happy.

‘Liberty of Leim’

Hetty’s dream and ambition would be for her jumpsuits to feature in Liberty of London.

They certainly wouldn’t look out of place!
